No. A little understanding of how wine is made is useful but we know you can always look that up. Our goal is to throw open the doors of Italian wine and invite you in!
Italian Grape Geek Level 1 has 10 modules and you can complete them at your own speed. We suggest 3 months as a reasonable time for completion, but you can do it faster or slower, as you wish. You will have access to the online study platform for 6 months so you can take the final Quiz whenever you feel ready.
In Level 2, students are taught in person by certified Educators. Level 1 is autonomous study online.

Yes, all students must complete Level 1 online before they are eligible for Level 2 in person.
Italian Grape Geek Level 1 online modules comprise the theory part of our full course. Level 2 is Italian Grape Geek Tasting, which is an in person course, held periodically throughout the year with our Educators in various regions around the world. Please see our Schedule of In Person Courses to find a Tasting Course near you.
You can pay directly through our website when you register for the course. We accept credit cards, and PayPal. It is not possible to pay for this course in installments.
